Prof. Dror Avisar is Head of Hydrochemistry Research Group at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Avisar returned to Israel in 2004 after being a postdoc, lecturer and researcher at the University of California Santa Barbara (USCB). On October 2004 Dror was appointed to an academic position at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Avisar focuses his research interest on the understanding the physico-chemical processes and the occurrence and transport of micro and nano contaminants within the aquatic environment. Additionally, Dror’s research group is investing lots of efforts to develop and to optimize innovative technologies to break down and remove these contaminants from various water sources.
