This laboratory develops water-treatment processes and technologies by means of theoretical and experimental studies. Researchers introduce photons, radicals, and nanoparticles into the water to study the effects of these reactive species on various water quality mechanisms and parameters.
As a water research center, we emphasize the importance of applied research, in which pilot studies are of crucial importance as part of the first stage towards the implementation of new technologies.
